"Propaganda and "Information" can be alike in their purpose and rationale in getting an audience's attention. Yet these two terms are different in their definitions, types, purpose, and problems. Throughout my essay, I will describe similarities and differences between these two terms. What is information? Information is defined as the communication or reception of knowledge or intelligence. Knowledge obtained from investigation study, or instruction is an example of information according to Webster's dictionary. In other words, information tells us something that is understandable and has the potential to become knowledge for us when we view it critically and add it to what we already know according to http://www.library.jhu.edu/elp/useit/evaluate/counterfeit.html#info. There are many forms of information such as intelligence, news, facts and data. Information can be obtained from every day life such as watching the channel 7 news or reading the Chicago Tribune. Information can be positive or negative....
