Being part of the information management system, Internet has been an essential tool in the exchange of information all over the world, especially in the business area. As Curtis and Cobham argued, the coming together of business and activities and Internet technology has fundamentally changed the environment and structure of business (Curtis: 202). One reason for that is Internet has provided an additional way for trade- Electronic Commerce (e-commerce). This part of the report will illustrate how e-commerce impact on the conduct of business. To achieve that, in the first part, I will explain the concept of e-commerce. Then in the second part, I will discuss its influences on the business in detail. E-commerce is any exchange of information or business transaction that is facilitated by the use of information and communication technologies (Curtis: 204).
