Summary of 'The Wheely Bin Business' Kat and Joe Wilson live in a small village of about 1,500 households. The area has recently just been introduced to wheely bins by the council for household rubbish. The bins are large and households every week are advised to leave their bins on the pavement in front of their house so the bin men can empty them. The major problem is that they get dirty and smelly and because of their size it is hard for them to be cleaned. Joe was recently made redundant from his engineering company. Joe was paid £20,000; Joe saw this as an opportunity to set up a small business. Joe and his wife are in their forties and wanted to set up a business which didn't keep them indoors.
