UNIT 2A The Company I will be investigating Daniel Motor Services (DMS) and how it uses ICT to fulfil its objectives. I will be investigating the main functional departments and explaining how these departments help the company fulfil its aims. Daniel Motor Services also known as (DMS) is a private limited company which has one garage located in Hayes, Middlesex. There are 6 employees who play major roles in this small business sector. Daniel (Director of the Business), Suneel (The Office Manager/ Electronic Engineer), Nathan (The Company Secretary/Accountant), Harvey (MOT Tester), Vicky (Part-time Tester), Kevin (Mechanic). Daniel was a hardworking student who came to Britain when he was 17 from a village in Srilanka which was bombed during ethnic unrest. When he came to Britain he hardly had any money for his survival. He managed to get a job at Marks and Spencer warehouse and saved up a little bit of money...
