The following report will look at a private owned manufacturing business which has many global business situated around the world. The company I have looked at is the Knaufdrywall based in the UK. Knauf is a family-owned (ltd) global building Materials Company with approximately 16.000 employees and more the 100 production plants in over 30 countries worldwide. Based in Germany, Knauf is one of the largest independent European building materials groups, and has a strong presence in almost all market throughout Europe. Knauf was founded in 1932 by the brothers Karl and Dr. Alfons N.Knauf.
