Analysis Introduction The Cordova Bay Golf Club has within the last two years seen a great rise in the amount of memberships taken up at the club. This is mainly due to the recent renovation and extension of the clubhouse, the upgrading of the practice facilities, and the construction of a new restaurant. As well as this, the golf course conditions have greatly been improving with the appointment of a new greenkeeper. Currently, the information about the members is kept in a notebook, which is filled in by hand by the club secretary. There are a number of problems that result in this system of record keeping. Firstly, when the club was still small, it was easy to find details about members by simply looking through the book, but now that there is a large member population, if information regarding a single member must be obtained, it is very tedious to look...
