DEVELOPING A SMALL BUSINESS 4MBS614/Semester2 BUSINESS PLAN 'BAVARIAN CRAFT BAKER' Word count: 3,000 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY We are thrilled to announce our plans to launch 'The Bavarian Craft Baker' (BCB) in March 2004. Our business will be the first traditional Bavarian bakery in Central London. BCB will serve the fastest-growing sector of the baked-goods market, the Specialty Bread Sector, which will have a value of £806m in 2004. BCB will be formed as a Limited Liability Partnership; located in West Hampstead. BCB's first-mover advantage in offering continental specialties will be sustained by our ability to supply real, traditional-recipe, hand-made baked goods to target consumers, who seek better products, and to the hi-value German community. Further, we have a plan to identify and reach these specific consumers, and thus to establish a brand that means top quality to those consumers willing to pay a premium.
