... The Wall Street Crash occurred because of a numerous reasons. The most important reason was speculating. However some reasons were linked to each other. What is meant by this is that the policy of trade of the Republican Government meant that the policy of trade of the Republican government meant that they could not solve the problem of over production as Europeans refused to buy their surplus goods due to the high tariffs. Another thing is that poor could not afford it and the rich had already acquired the goods. It was almost as though the American market had become saturated. There are three types of causes, which help to explain why the Wall Street occurred and they are Long-term causes, Short term causes and Main causes (trigger).
