Biology Investigation Planning The aim of this experiment is to find out how much protein can digest in a different concentration of trypsin. Independent variables This is what I can change: Temperature Time Concentration pH The thing that I am going to change is the pH, I will add different amounts of Hydrochloric acid and Sodium carbonate solutions to create different acid and alkali conditions. Dependent variable I will measure the amounts of hydrochloric acid and the amounts of sodium carbonate with a Pipette (measure in cm3). The reason why I am going to measure the amounts of hydrochloric acid and the amounts of sodium carbonate solutions with a pipette instead of using a cylinder is because by using a pipette can measure it more accurate than by using a cylinder, so that is why I am going to measure the amounts of hydrochloric acid and the amounts of sodium carbonate solutions with a pipette.
