Investigating how the concentration of an enzyme affect the speed of reaction Method: First I will put 2ml starch in a test tube then I will add a drop of Iodine to this solution. If correct it will turn blue then in a separate then in a separate test tube I will put 4ml diastase then place both in a water bath at several different temperatures then I will mix these 2 test tubes and time the reaction until it clears and will then collect my results. Fair test: I will start the stop watch at the moment I mix the chemicals and stop when the solution goes clear. I will check all the measurements before mixing the chemicals. I Will also leave the test tubes in the 2 separate test tubes for 2 1/2 minutes to acclimatise And I will keep the P.H levels the same. Equipment: * Boiling tubes x2. * Water Baths *...
