Investigate the activity of The enzyme amylase at different Concentrations Aim To investigate the activity of the enzyme amylase at different concentrations of the enzyme. Amylase catalyses the hydrolysis of starch into reducing sugars. The activity of the enzyme will be determined by estimating the amount of reducing sugar formed from starch by using colour standards. Results Table of my results Concentration of Amylase Mg of glucose produced 0.05% 1 0.1% 3.5 0.5% 5 1% 15 Table of group results Concentration of Amylase Glucose produced (mg) Average results 0.05% 0.4, 0.7, 0.5, 1, 0.5, 0.4, 0.6 0.1% 1.2, 3.5, 1.1, 2.5, 1.2, 1.2, 1.8 0.5% 1.9, 1.8, 5, 5, 1.7, 1.7, 2.9 1% 2.4, 2.3, 2.3, 7, 15, 2.2 5.2 Analysis From the table of group results, I have plotted a graph. From the range, I can look to see which results stand out from...
