This Is because I realised that I need a wider range of results, so I chose to go above 60 oC and below 30oC. The reason I went up 80oC was to prove that the enzymes denature. How accurate was my experiment? My experiment that I carried out was very accurate, and I attempted to make it as accurate as I possibly could. I used a thermometer to monitor temperature (to the nearest oC), so therefore it was more accurate and was easier to keep constant. The room temperature did not change drastically throughout the experiment and was also fairly constant. A stopwatch was used to measure the time accurately to a 10th of a second.
