Absolute and Relative Formula Absolute and Relative formula In my spreadsheet I will be using both absolute and relative formula. Relative formula is where for example you add the contents of two cells together, and when you copy the formula and paste it into another cell, the formula the re-calculates by adding the contents of the two new cells and say if I copied and pasted the formula into another new cell, it wouldn't work this time because in one of the content it is non numeric. But if I wanted to transfer the all the answer into one cell but this time on to another sheet, then the formula wouldn't work because this time you need an Absolute formula to transfer all the answer into another sheet, for this you can't just use a normal formula, this is because if you transfer it into another sheet it wouldn't work this is...
