The Previous 100 Years of Science have had a Huge Impact in Society & Human Civilisation. What scientific development or break through do you think would prove to be the most significant within the next 100 years? I believe the discovery of genetic engineering, will be the most significant breakthrough in science within the next 100 years, which will prove to have the most impact on society and human civilisation The discovery of DNA has allowed us to understand how genetic material is stored and copied and given rise to a new way of looking at and manipulating biological processes in order to help humans survive. However genetic engineering will make full use of this discovery in order to help humans survive and win the battle against diseases.
