Science and Technology has Overtaken Morality * There are countless moral issues raised by scientific and technological development. Often, the development is as hard to justify, as it is to condemn, so no solution can be found. However, I'll remind you that no matter what the justification or argument, it is in the nature of human beings to inquire and advance into new discoveries and developments, it is something that is impossible to stop completely. * I will look at a selection of scientific and technological advances and briefly explain the problems that arise as examples. Perhaps then you can form a conclusion as to whether or not all scientific and technological development is justified, whether it is on the borderline of overtaking morality now, or whether science and technology overtook morality long ago. * First we can look at the way in which scientific discoveries are made.
