Genetics involves the study of gene evolution, genetic engineering and the associated challenges and potential.

Why Study Genetics, Evolution and Biodiversity?

To learn about biological habitats we must observe their biodiversity, and the maintenance of biodiversity is critical to our future. Evolution tells us that all organisms have the same origin; understanding these evolutionary paths advances our appreciation of the biological interrelation of all organisms.

What Will I Study?

The coursework during these units of Biology AS or A Level will allow essay writing on topics including gene therapy, cystic fibrosis and stems cells.
