Introduction: In this investigation is that I will be investigating the effects of osmosis on plants. I will be exposing potatoes to different concentration of sucrose and water. I will be taking down the changes that occur within the weight that either been gained or lost on the potato. To make it a fair test I will make sure that the tests will be conducted fairly. Osmosis: is the diffusion of fluid through a semi-permeable membrane from a solution with a low solute concentration to a solution with a high solute concentration until there is an equal concentration of fluid on both sides of the membrane. Equipment list: * Test tubes * Measuring cylinders * Stopwatch * Potatoes * Sucrose (2m) * Water * Measuring scales * Test tube rack * Potato cutter Method: 1. Clean out all equipment before use. 2.
