Investigating the affect of glucose concentration on yeast respiration Method I will set up my apparatus as shown below: Apparatus: * Burette * Weighing dishes * Conical Flask * Measuring cylinder * Water tub * Spatula * Delivery tube and bung * Stop Clock * Boss, clamp and stand I will measure out using weighing scales the correct amount of glucose and yeast using a small plastic dish. I will measure it as near to the gram. I will then put the measured yeast and glucose into a test tube that will have a small amount of warm water in to activate the yeast and start the reaction. We will then mix it by shaking it for a few seconds and then immediately but the bung in and start timing. Through my experiment I hope to find out if the concentration of the mixture affects the rate of respiration. I will keep the amount of Yeast the same throughout so it will not...
