Since man has existed and since he has had the need to express himself art has existed. Art is one of the few areas of knowledge which constantly attracts controversial and criticisms. This is because it is a subject which involves a lot of human emotions. Art is, in fact, an expression of feelings, some of which are sometimes restricted and hidden in our society. It is these emotions which if they do ever come out as a piece of art they are capable of upsetting a large part of our community. A very good example is a French novel called "L'etranger" by Albert Camus, a very criticized piece of literature because of its strongly immoral contents.
